LETHBRIDGE – Coming off a tough weekend versus the defending U SPORTS Champions Manitoba Bisons, the task doesn't get any easier this weekend, traveling to Edmonton to take on the U SPORTS third ranked Alberta Pandas.
The Pronghorns and Pandas will face off at Clare Drake Arena in Edmonton, Friday night at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., catch all the action on

A look at the teams:
The Pronghorns (3-6-0-1) will look to rebound from a tough weekend in Winnipeg, losing both games to the defending National Champion Bisons but remained as one the lowest scoring teams in Canada West. With 13 goals for in 10 games, the Pronghorns are ranked seventh in Canada West scoring.
On the other side of the puck, the Pronghorns are fifth in goals-against, allowing 27 goals against.
Thus far this season, the specialty teams have been a strength for the Pronghorns, holding the third ranked penalty killing (88.9%) and fifth ranked power play (14.3%).
The Pandas (7-2-1-0) sit tied for top spot in Canada West with the Bisons and have been a defensive juggernaut this season. In 10 games, the Pandas have only allowed seven goals against and have gone three full games with out allowing a goal.
Offensively, the Pandas sit second in goals for with 28.
The Pandas are also one of two teams in Canada West that have not allowed a power play goal against this season, killing off all 20 times shorthanded.
Players to watch:
For the Pronghorns, Tricia Van Vaerenbergh continues to lead the Pronghorns with five goals and two assists. Her five goals is tied for second in Canada West goal scoring.
Second-year forward Alli Borrow sits second on the team with three goals and an assist.
In the crease, Alicia Anderson has started eight games and holds a 1.94 goals-against average and a 0.942 save percentage.
The Pandas have the three top scorers in Canada West, led by Alex Poznikoff, who has six goals and 10 assists thus far.
Autumn MacDougall sits second with 14 points, while Kennedy Ganser follows with five goals and five assists in 10 games.
The Pandas have used a trio of goaltenders this year, with all three registering two shutouts and have impressive numbers. Kristen Chamerlin has only allowed one goal in three appearance and holds a 0.33 goals-against average. Dayna Owen sits with a 0.72 goals-against average, while rookie Halle Oswald has won two of her three starts.
