The duo of Michael Enes and Everett Orgnero led the Griffins attack with three goals a piece.
While the Golden Bears (4-5-3) have clinched a playoff spot, there is an opportunity for the Bears to move up to as high as second in the division with a pair of wins and help from other teams. Currently the Bears trail both Saskatchewan Huskies and Calgary Dinos by four points in the battle for seeding.
Alberta enters the final weekend unbeaten in four games, including a 1-1 tie with the division leading Mount Royal Cougars in their last action.
Statistically, the Bears are ranked ninth in Canada West in scoring with 16 goals scored, but are strong defensively, sitting fourth, allowing only 17 goals against in 12 games.
