LETHBRIDGE – With two games remaining in the Canada West season, the Lethbridge Pronghorns women's soccer team controls its own destiny but will have to head out on the road with the hopes of securing a playoff spot.
The Pronghorns will take on the Winnipeg Wesmen Friday night and the Manitoba Bisons Saturday night. Kick-off for both contests are slated for 7:00 pm CST, catch all the action on

A look at the teams:
Heading into the final weekend of conference action, the Pronghorns (1-5-6) sit in the final playoff spot four points ahead of the Mount Royal Cougars and six points ahead of the Wesmen. Any combination of a Pronghorn win or loss by MRU, the Pronghorns would clinch a spot in the Canada West playoffs.
The Pronghorns are 3-0-2 versus the Wesmen over the past five years.
Statistically, the Pronghorns sit in a tie for 12
th in the goal scoring department with eight goals in 12 games. Defensively, the 'Horns are 10
th, surrendering 19 goals against.
With three goals in her last four games, Colette Mafahkam has moved into a tie with Jesse Dueck for the team lead in goals with three.
Sitting six points back, the Wesmen (1-11-0) will need to put an end to a seven game losing streak if they are to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
Winnipeg has allowed a Canada West high 42 goals against in 12 games this season and has only scored seven goals for.
Shae-Lynn Dodds has accounted for five of the Wesmens seven goals this season and sits tied for 11
th in Canada West goal scoring.
Riding a two game win streak, the Manitoba Bisons (6-5-1) are set for a post-season appearance but are looking to move up in the standings, sitting only five points back of a home playoff date.
Last weekend, the Bisons swept a home-and-home series with cross town rival Winnipeg.
While the Bisons have allowed the fifth most goals in the conference with 21, they have also scored 21 times to sit fourth on conference scoring.
The trio of Nicole Davis, Jessica Tsai and Stefanie Young have combined to score 17 of the Bisons 21 goals this season. Both Davis and Tsai have scored six times, while Young sits one back with five.
