LETHBRIDGE – Entering the fourth week of the conference schedule, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's soccer team heads out on the road facing a pair of stiff tests taking on two Pacific teams and perennial Canada West contenders.
Friday night the Pronghorns face 2018 U SPORTS semi-finalist Trinity Western Spartans at 7:15 pm in Langley, BC and close out the road trip Saturday night versus the defending Canada West Champion UBC Thunderbirds at 7:00pm. Game time for both games is Pacific Time and catch all the action on

A look at the teams:
Last weekend, in a change from the traditional schedule, the Pronghorns (0-3-2) hosted the Saskatchewan Huskies for only one game. On the strength of Landon Veluw's first career Canada West goal, the Pronghorns picked up their second tie of the season, 1-1.
Matt Vandervoort has continued his strong play in the Pronghorns' net, making eight more saves and he sits tied for the conference lead in total saves with 30 through five games.
Coming off a trip to the U SPORTS Championship semi-finals, the Trinity Western Spartans (1-3-0) have had an uncharacteristic rocky start to the season. The Spartans dropped their first two games of the season on the road to Victoria and UBC. Last weekend, the Spartans beat TRU 1-0, before dropping a 1-0 decision at home to the Pacific Division leading UBCO Heat.
Last year the Spartans beat the Pronghorns 3-0 and two years ago the Spartans beat the Pronghorns 5-1 in Langley.
The 2018 Canada West Champion UBC Thunderbirds (2-1-1) are coming off a bye and sit second in the Pacific Division but were beat 2-0 by the Heat in their last action. The T-Birds opened the season with wins over Fraser Valley and the Spartans and tied TRU in their first game two weekends ago.
The Pronghorns and T-Birds have not faced each other since the 2016 season. The Pronghorns beat the T-Birds 3-2 in Lethbridge but lost 2-1 to UBC in the Canada West quarter-final later that season in Vancouver.
Up Next:
The Pronghorns will be back on home field next weekend, hosting the Fraser Valley Cascades and TRU WolfPack, Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
