Pronghorns take on Pandas on home turf

LETHBRIDGE – Half way through the conference schedule, the Lethbridge Pronghorn women's soccer team will look to find the win column on home turf this weekend, hosting the Alberta Pandas for a pair of games at the University Community Stadium.
 
Kick-off for both Friday and Saturday is scheduled for 12:00pm. Proof of vaccination or a negative rapid test with government issued ID is required to attend Pronghorn home games.
 
Both games will be streamed live on www.canadawest.tv, presented by Co-op.
 
During the opening weekend of the season, the Pronghorns dropped a 2-0 decision to the Pandas in Edmonton. 
 
A look at the teams
 
Last weekend versus the nationally ranked Calgary Dinos, the Pronghorns (0-6-0) dropped a 3-1 decision at home and lost 5-0 in Calgary.
 
Through six games, the Pronghorns have scored three times with Lucy Mundy leading the team with two goals and assisted on the other one.
 
Coming off a road split last weekend, the Pandas (3-5-0) sit fourth in the Central Division, only one point behind the Mount Royal Cougars. The Pandas beat the Cougars last Saturday 4-0 before losing the next afternoon 3-2.
 
In eight games this season, the Pandas have an even goal differential with 12 goals for and 12 goals against.
 
Georgia Tansley and Emily Duxbury are tied the team lead in goals with three apiece.
 
Up Next
 
The Pronghorns will head out on the road next weekend, traveling the Edmonton to face the MacEwan Griffins for a pair of games.
