LETHBRIDGE – Coming off a bye week, the Lethbridge Pronghorn women's soccer team returns to action with a home-and-home series with the Calgary Dinos.
The Pronghorns will host the opening game of the weekend set Saturday afternoon at the University Community Stadium, kick-off is slated for 12:00 pm. Proof of vaccination or a negative rapid test with government issued ID is required to attend Pronghorn home games.
Game two of the weekend set goes in Calgary Sunday at 12:00 pm, both games will be streamed live on
www.canadawest.tv, presented by Co-op.
Two weeks ago in Calgary, the Dinos handed the Pronghorns a 4-0 defeat.
A look at the teams
Following last week's bye, the Pronghorns (0-4) enter the second half of the Canada West season, playing eight games over the next four weeks.
Through four games, the Pronghorns have allowed 13 goals against and need to find an offensive spark having only scored two goals thus far.
Midfielder Lucy Mundy leads the Pronghorns offensively with a goal and an assist, while Kaleigh Harris has scored the Pronghorns other goal this season.
After starting the season with four straight wins, the Calgary Dinos (4-1-1) dropped their first points of the season last weekend. Hosting crosstown rival Mount Royal Cougars for a pair of games last weekend, the Dinos lost 2-1 and tied 1-1 and dropped in the U SPORTS Top 10 ranking from first to sixth in the country.
Fifth-year midfielder Montana Leonard sits atop the Canada West scoring list with eight goals in six games this season.
