A look at the teams

Still in search of a first win of the season, the Pronghorns (0-8-2) we face a tough test this weekend with two of the top three teams in the Prairie Division. Earlier this season, the Pronghorns were beaten by the Pandas 3-1 and 5-0 by the Griffins in Lethbridge

On the road last weekend, the Pronghorns dropped both games in Saskatchewan to the Regina Cougars and Saskatchewan Huskies and were shutout in both contests.

Hailey Slobodian continues to lead the Pronghorns offensively with four goals and three assists, while Kaleigh Harris sits second on the team with two goals and an assist.

The Pandas (6-3-1) enter the weekend on a three game winning streak and are in a battle for second spot in the division, trailing the Huskies by two points for second.

Adrienne Poulin has been an offensive dynamo this year for the Pandas with a team leading seven goals. She sits tied for third in conference goal scoring.

The defending U SPORTS Champion and nationally fifth ranked Griffins (8-2-0) enter the homestretch of the Canada West season as the hottest team in the conference. The Griffins have won six straight games, including a 7-1 whitewash of the Winnipeg Wesmen last weekend.

Led by a balanced attack, the Griffins have five players with at least three goals this season, including Grace Mwasalla, who has a team leading five goals this season.
