LETHBRIDGE – Looking to rebound from a season opening loss this past Saturday, the Lethbridge Pronghorn women's soccer team will get an opportunity to enact some revenge on Wednesday, traveling to Calgary to face the Mount Royal Cougars.

The Pronghorns and Cougars will complete the two game season series at 6:00 PM Wednesday on Mount Royal University campus. Catch all the action on www.canadawest.tv

Only two days ago, the Cougars upended the Pronghorns 6-2 in both teams season opener. On the strength of scoring goals in bunches, the Cougars scored two goals in the first have in the sixth  and 26th minute and then scored three times in a seven minute span to regain control.

After following behind 2-0, the Pronghorns did battle back to tie the game at two early in the second half but suffered a mental lapse following the second goal. Kaleigh Harris scored in the first half and Hailey Slobodian brought the Pronghorns level in the 58th minute.

Returning keeper Bridie Harding made 11 saves in the loss as Mount Royal held a 25 to 8 advantage in shot attempts and 17-3 in shots on goal.
