LETHBRIDGE – A battle of goalkeeping kept the game between the Lethbridge Pronghorns and UFV Cascades tied at 0-0 for much of the Saturday afternoon game, but second half goals from Alanna Sydenham and Dessa Peterson were enough give the visitors the win.

BREAKDOWN
- Despite a back-and-forth game between the visiting UFV Cascades and Lethbridge Pronghorns, both teams remained scoreless following the first 45-minutes of play at the University of Lethbridge Community Stadium.
- Pronghorn goalkeeper, Bridie Harding laid her body on the line come up with a key save for the home team in the 18th minute, as Brooklynn Franzon worked her way inside on the Horns defence for a chance to take a lead in the Saturday afternoon game.
- Scoring chances for the Horns came from Lucy Mundy at minutes 30 and 38 of play, but were stopped by the fourth year Cascade, Kareena Sahota to keep the game tied at 0-0 going into the second half.
- In the 56th minute the Horns had a chance to take the lead in the game, as Lisa Popp drilled a shot at the Cascades net, but an outstanding save from Sahota kept the game tied.
- On the other end, Bridie Harding continued to make stops for the Horns, preventing a Cascade goal off a free kick in the 68th minute.
- UFV Cascades broke the tie, scoring in the 75th minute of game, as a corner kick made its way through the Horns defence to bounce back to Alanna Sydenham who put it past the diving Harding.
- Dessa Peterson added to the Cascades lead, making it 2-0 for the visitors in the 79th minute of play.
- Harding finished the game with 11 saves for the Pronghorns but was not enough to stop the Cascades late game offense.
