Female Athlete of the Week:
Jenna-Marie Durnin– Women’s Hockey
Senior captain Jenna-Marie Durnin capped her university career this past weekend with two solid games in Winnipeg versus the Manitoba Bisons.
While the ‘Horns lost both games and failed to qualify for the playoffs, Durnin, as she has done throughout her career, provided a strong two-way game and played a key role in the ‘Horns penalty killing unit that killed off 10 of 12 Bison power plays in the two games. She also scored the Pronghorns lone goal as they lost by 4-0 and 3-1 scores.
In 26 games this season, Durnin registered two goals and four assists.
