Female Athlete of the Week:
Jodi Gentile – Women’s Hockey
 
Despite losing both games this past weekend third-year defender Jodi Gentile had a solid offensive weekend for the Pronghorn women’s hockey team.
 
In the front half of a home-and-home series with the Mount Royal Cougars, Gentile scored the lone goal in the Pronghorns tight 2-1 loss. She also recorded a plus one rating.
 
Saturday in Lethbridge, Gentile scored again in the ‘Horns 4-2 loss and has now registered a point in three straight games.
 
Her two goals this past weekend moved her into a tie for the team lead in goals with three and into a tie for second in points with five. She also sits second on the team in shots on goal with 29.
 
Gentile and the women’s hockey team head out on the road this weekend, travelling to Edmonton to face the Alberta Pandas.
