Female Athlete of the Week:

Carolyn McKee – Women’s Rugby

Playing in the inaugural women’s rugby sevens series tournament, first-year fullback Carolyn McKee played a complete game the entire weekend, leading the Pronghorns to a fourth place finish in the first stop of the three stop series.

McKee, a Stirling, Alberta product was second on the team in tries during the weekend, scoring four in six games but her defending and precision tackling was equally important in the ‘Horns placing.

The next stop on the Canada West Sevens Series is in Vancouver February 4^th and 5^th, hosted by the UBC Thunderbirds.
