Male Athlete of the Week:
 
Matt Medoruma – Men’s Soccer
 
In his final home games of his collegiate career, fifth-year midfielder Matt Medoruma was instrumental in the ‘Horns earning four points last weekend and keeping the ‘Horns playoff hopes alive.
 
Heading into last weekend, the ‘Horns were four points out of playoff spot and after a win and a tie over the division leading and CIS fourth ranked Alberta Golden Bears now sit one point out with two games to play.
 
Medoruma assisted on the insurance goal Saturday afternoon in the ‘Horns 2-0 win and was a force in the midfield the next day in the scoreless draw.
 
On the season, Medoruma sits second in ‘Horns scoring with one goal and three assists.
