Fourth-year back row Kim Leavitt led the Lethbridge Pronghorns to a 1-1 opening weekend of the Canada West season. She was a regular threat on offence and was relentless on defence both in the tackle and in the ruck.
 
During Lethbridge’s season opening upset 18-15 loss to the Victoria Vikes, Leavitt scored one of the three Pronghorn tries and was a defensive stalwart to ensure the ‘Horns earned a bonus point with a loss by less than seven points.
 
In a rebound victory on Sunday versus the UBC Thunderbirds, Leavitt led the way for the Pronghorns scoring two tries in the 31-14 win.
 
Leavitt sits second in Canada West scoring with three tries.
