Women's Basketball
Friday: Manitoba 60, Lethbridge 48
The Pronghorns dropped the opening game of their weekend series, falling 60–48 to the Manitoba Bisons. Lethbridge struggled to take care of the ball, committing 28 turnovers that led to 26 Manitoba points. Despite generating quality looks at the rim, the Horns couldn't convert, finishing 18–73 from the field and 1–19 from three-point range, with Rae Wedman hitting the team's lone triple.
Lethbridge battled on the glass, pulling down 22 offensive rebounds, led by Mhari Mattuli with seven. Courtney McKee paced the Pronghorns with 15 points, while Abby Stonehocker added 10 and Wedman chipped in seven off the bench. Manitoba was led by Taylor Schepp's 14 points and four steals, with Samantha Onyebuchi contributing 12 points.
Saturday: Lethbridge 80, Manitoba 65
The Pronghorns bounced back on Saturday, earning an 80–65 win to split the series. Lethbridge led wire to wire, putting together its strongest stretch in a 22–16 second quarter and receiving balanced scoring across the roster. Asia Wells provided a spark off the bench with 13 points.
McKee continued her strong weekend, dropping 24 points on 50% shooting and going 7-for-11 from the free-throw line. Piper Dobbelsteyn added 12 points, including a pair of threes. Schepp once again led the Bisons with 14 points, while Treyah Paquette chipped in 10 off the bench.
Men's Basketball
Friday: Lethbridge 87, Manitoba 71
The Pronghorn Men opened their weekend with an impressive 87–71 victory, jumping out to a quick 10–1 lead thanks to early threes from Bryce Solis and maintaining control the rest of the night. Four starters reached double figures, with fifth-year guard Kymani Pollard leading the way with 18 points.
Lu Dalil and Joe Lemieux added 15 points apiece, while Mason Hoffman contributed 10 off the bench in his Pronghorns home debut. Manitoba was paced by 19-point efforts from both Mason Kraus and Taven Vigilance.
Saturday: Manitoba 74, Lethbridge 69
Lethbridge couldn't complete the sweep on Saturday, falling 74–69 in a tightly contested matchup. Manitoba flipped the script from the night prior, racing out to a 10–0 lead and holding off a late Pronghorn surge. Lethbridge cut the deficit to one midway through the fourth, but timely Bisons three-pointers extended the gap, including a key dagger from Kraus.
Kraus finished with 19 points on 4–9 shooting from deep. Pollard again led the Pronghorns with 16 points, while Brady Baines delivered an efficient 14 points off the bench, going a perfect 4-for-4 from beyond the arc.
