Male Athlete of the Week:
Zac Overwater – Men’s Basketball
Second-year guard Zac Overwater came off the bench last weekend to help the Pronghorn men’s basketball team to a road split with the Regina Cougars.
In 15 minutes of play Friday night, Overwater scored 11 points on 5 of 6 shooting to help the ‘Horns to a 83-76 win over the Cougars. He also had two assists and one steal on the night.
In the ‘Horns loss Saturday night, Overwater recorded an efficient eight points on 2 of 4 shooting and was 3 for 4 from the free throw line, while also grabbing two boards.
In four games this season Overwater is averaging 7.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.

Female Athlete of the Week:
Danielle Fritzke – Women’s Basketball
While the Pronghorn women’s basketball team was swept in Regina by the CIS sixth ranked Regina Cougars, one bright spot was the play of new comer Danielle Fritzke.
A transfer from Mount Royal where she played volleyball last year, Fritzke came off the bench Friday night to score a team high 18 points. She was 5 of 7 from behind the arc and also recorded four rebounds and one steal.
Making her first start Saturday night, Fritzke recorded nine points, two rebounds and two steals in the ‘Horns 74-54 loss to the Cougars.
Through her first four games as a Pronghorn Fritzke is second on the team in points per game, averaging 9.3 points per game.
