Lethbridge, AB – The SUBWAY Pronghorn Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 11, 2012.

Female Athlete of the Week:
Erin Skippon – Women’s Basketball

Transfer post Erin Skippon has been a huge reason for the ‘Horns excellent start to the 2012-13 women’s basketball season and was a key cog in the ‘Horns win over CIS sixth ranked Saskatchewan Huskies this past Friday night.
During the ‘Horns 67-61 in over the Huskies, Skippon led all scorers with 20 points and narrowly missed out on her first double-double in a Pronghorn jersey, grabbing eight rebounds.
In her fifth-year of eligibility after transferring from the Queen’s Gaels, Skippon has provided the ‘Horns with exceptional leadership and helped with the transition to a new system.
Through two weekends of the conference schedule Skippon is averaging 11.5 points per game and just under 6 rebounds a night.
