Male Athlete of the Week:
 
Mitch Maxwell– Men’s Hockey
 
Coming off a two year hiatus from the game of hockey, former Lethbridge Hurricane Mitch Maxwell has been a great addition to the University of Lethbridge men’s hockey program and has made an immediate impact.
 
This past weekend, in addition to his consistent two-way play, Maxwell assisted on four of the ‘Horns eight goals and was a key contributor to the ‘Horns earning their first win of the season Friday night. Maxwell was credited with the lone assist on Hayden Rintoul’s overtime winner and assisted on Ryon Moser’s power play goal in the first period.
 
The Magrath native assisted on two more goals Saturday night in the ‘Horns 7-4 loss to the Thunderbirds.
